I am trying to find the setting that will allow me to select elements that are underneath roof deck.
On one of my jobs I started without my company template this works fine. My deck is set to 25% transparency and I canclick on any element I can see under it. I can't click on any elements under slabs (0% trans) unless I change the transparency (which is how I want it).
In jobs started with my company template I can't select any elements under the deck despite the tranparency. I can't for the life of me figure out what I need to set to allow me to click through the deck.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I would just hide the roof and then there is no problem selecting whatever you want in 3D. If you don't want the roof hidden in that view you can always create another 3D view with the roof off just to move things and delete it later.

I know there are many work arounds to do this. But sometimes it is useful to have the deck showing and be able to select the joists under it. And there has to be a toggle for it as I can do it in some projects but not in others.
