Hello REVIT users! I wanted to say that I "HAD" to join this community due to the fact I can not seem to get REVIT to work for me.
So, first question. Where would I place questions regarding drawing extractions? I am looking to offset connections of beams & columns, framing to beams etc....
How do I get the analytical drawing to place these offsets for steel to steel connections? The only way I've found that governs this is the connection node but that NEEDS to be center to center for modeling?
I can not lie to my new community, but the fact REVIT doesn't do this out of the box has me quite concerned what else it isn't doing based on industry practises.
If anyone knows the answer to this inquiry or can point me in a direction I would be greatful
Keep calm and collected,

I don't really understand what you are trying to accomplish...offset connections of beams and columns? What kind of offset?

Toefoe,
Thanks for responding! I was in the wrong area, its a view constraint that will give me a "STEEL STICK" drawing. Analytical is for load cases and analyses.
My biggest problem is the terminology is a little off from what we call it in the industry but I am learing.
Thanks,
