Is there a way to bring an imported/linked CAD linework to the top of the Revit linework/geometry, as opposed to underneath? I am trying to overlay imported HVAC ductwork over the architectural reflected ceiling plan for coordination purposes.
I just realized that I can import the data into an annotation symbol and paste the symbol on top of the Revit linework. This works okay, but it is a bit tedious. Also, you can no longer query layers or control layer visibility. Wondering if there are any more effective methods.

I just found the solution. You simply have to click on the CAD link, go to Properties, and change Draw Layer from the default Background setting to Foreground. Very simple!
Adjusting the associated level sounds like a good idea, but it's not really possible. Imported CAD work does not behave like model lines where you are able to change the associated level and offset height at will. There is an option to associate it to a level, but only during import and only if you uncheck "current view only".
