Hello evryone, I'm using revit architecture 2012, currently I'm designing a cantilever building (a part of which is cantilever actualy) well, I create my building pad, pretty nice, it cuts a portion of site that I don't want in my building, however, it creates an extruded soil under the cantilever part of my building. Any help will be highly appreciated.Previously i've faced with such problem, but I solved it cheating with site points... pretty messy work and honestly works just for renderings... but as we know the final aim a smart model....Here is 3 piv. first: a building before pad was created, second: after creation (you can see soil filled by pad), third: the previous project (where i was cheating )Thanksss....

Limit your pad sketch to the appropriate contour.
And obviously - the pad is not defines as your floor. That is actually a floor.

This is what I've done previous, (see 3rd picture) but, it's to bloody and not precise, yes, for rendering is - ok, but for drawings... doesn't work..
What you mean... "This is actually a floor?"

Please see attached site plan and section. In section, you can see floor and pad, the pad is only half of the building. The thickness of the pad was 12", with minus 1'-0" Height Offset from the level 1.You can change the pad thickness to 0.125" or even thinner, then you can hide it on section. Then go to the site plan to see the extent of the pad.Hope that is what you want.
That is what WWHub meant.

Thanks a lot, for both of replies. Although not exactly what I wanted, but still, last one was pretty usefull,- I decided to create a level at the bottom of my floor, - Then I've chenged the viewrange from 1200mm to 0 (So I could see where exactly soil passes from)
- after that, MANUALY i've drawen lines. (Bad part is that we can't pick the lines of site)
And here it is.. promise to share the renders after completion Again thanx...
