I linked the Architects model into a new project and we are renovating an existing building so I want the existing floorplan and new floorplan. When I copy/monitored the levels into the project, it only shows the new floorplan. How do I get the existing floorplan showing the existing and demo'd walls? I tried to change the phase but it still doesn't show the demo'd walls. Thanks,

Under Visablility Graphics go to Revit Links, Display settings, custom and make sure the phase is showing up correctly there, you may need to customize the links display settings.

Thank you. That fixed it but brought up a new questions. For some reason, I can't make changes to the plan that I'm in like the scale of the plan or if I go into the Visibility Graphics box everything is grayed out. The only way it will let me make changes is I have to click on the button next to View Template and make the changes in the Apply View Template dialog box instead of in the actual plan itself.
Why is everything grayed out in the plan like the scale and visibility graphics without having to edit these in the view template?

In 2013, they changed the way view templates work. <<< BAD
Now the templates, if assigned to the view, actually lock it and nothing can be controlled that is controlled in the assigned view template. You are stuck with either taking away the assignment or always modifying the template.

Wow! What a pain in the arse!! I would rather work in Revit MEP 2012 but the arch is using 2013 so I didn't have a choice, and this is my first time using 2013. I hope they didn't "fix" other things that I'm used to in 2012.
