Pl see the Attached images, I have created a Nosing family Profile in Revit 2013, but cant see the profile in Plan. All the Model Categories and Lines are turned on in VG.... For some reason the nosing lines only pick one of the edge of the profile highlighted in Red...doesn't pick up the whole Profile in Plan. The Pan view is set to wireframe to show the nosing line, when turned to Hidden Line it disappears. I am missing something here, Any Ideas?

I believe that you will only see the outtermost nosing line in plan view. Not sure why you are seeing it in wireframe but not hidden line but you could do a plan region around the stair and set it to wireframe to show the line if its working that way. Your other option would be to just draw a detail line and array it. Why are you showing 2 lines anyway? I would think this would look confusing in a plan view?

Thanks for the Suggestion T, I know I can draw detail Lines/Filled Regions. Let me explain further...There are a no of ways to draw non slip nosing on a stair, what I did was go the route of drawing a profile in a nosing family...now if it shows up in 3D and in section it has to show up in Plan, unless some of the stair components are switched off in VG...in this case none are. All the model lines are on in the view, and according to me when the nosing lines are on there should show all the lines in Plan ( it shows only one on the edge). I checked the visibility in the family its on for all... course/fine...very basic. the reason I want to show the non slip nosing is to document it in Plan at 1:20 detail. I can do a workaround...this easy...but not a best pratcise.

I believe the workaround is your only option here.
