Using Revit 2013:
I imported some revit furniture models from Steelcase + Herman Miller. I assigned new materials to it that I had imported into Revit by going into model's properties.
A few furniture pieces would show up white in the floor plan but show up correctly in the designated new material in the elevations + perspective views.
I made sure to check the box visibility for floor plan for the models as well. floor plan is also in the realistic view.
What did work was: edit the family > select the entire model> delete the extra mass> add a new parameter (new material; although it came with preset material parameters)> load family> uncheck opacity. The problem with this is that the entire model is in 1 material (instead of 2: seat and frame).
Any other ideas? Is there a way I can override the materials before I load into Revit initially?
