Hello, all!
I've run into a problem with trying to create brick quoins. I created a wall-hosted generic model and set the material to be "by category." I gave it its own subcategory name so I could apply the brick model pattern to it from Object Styles. The pattern shows up and all, but for some reason, I cannot move the model pattern lines of the component. What happens is, I try to align the quoin's coursing with the building's brick coursing, but it moves the entire component, and the pattern stays locked in place with the dimensions of the quoin component.
I have decided to just create a wall type that is just the brick material of just the quoin thickness, since I know Revit will simply treat it like a regular wall, and that'll be that. However, can someone explain to me why I cannot adjust the lines of the pattern of the component? (Quoins aside, I just want to understand the way the features work better in case I ever create something that will be of brick (not a quoin).
Thanks a bunch for any help. I really appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Jason

NM I see the problem your facing. Not sure why the model pattern assigned within the project does not adjust either. You could always just make an in-place model instead.
