Create a new family then Import that SKP file.

Create your own family. Just use a generic family template and load this file into it.

IT wont let me do it, it says it needs to be converted to polymesh in autocad.

haha, you don't work for a certain firm in Kansas City do you? haha, there's one down there that won't let a lot of little revit things into their IT "system".  Although I believe they ended up comletely blocking Revit City.com from their IP's so you probably couldn't be working for them.
