Perplexed - Can anyone provide insite as to why my annotative detail moves in its view each time I move the section tag? The result is a detail that is no longer aligned at proper elevation / floor line. Thanks, Gobbler

You are learning that you have to be careful with sections that are detailed. You really should not move them. Dimensions to objects get lost when the section is moved and the object is gone. Its the same with other elements.

Help me to understand the relation of the section tag to the objects in its view? Attached are 3 .pgn's:
"Sec Prior To Moving Tag" aligns with finish floor. After moving tag (down) in the elevation view, the "Sec After Moving Tag" no longer aligns with finish floor which is the unwanted result I am trying to understand,
I also notice the FF elevation registers as 2 9/16" which is the amount the sections were off when I re-aligned them. Is there a relation between the sec tag and the FF Level?
thanks, Gobbler

Moving a section tag wont move a whole level. Are you sure you re not grabbing a level line along with the section tag? Unless I am missing something yet.

Pretty sure I did not grab the level line when I moved the section tag.
Also, not all the annotation items moved - detail lines and regions moved but some components did not.
Something tells me there's a simple reason for this but it eludes me...

You moved this using the move command. That would explain your problem - you did not move it exactly horizontal. Bump move it using the horizontal arrows. The furher out you are the larger the "bump" and vice versa.
