Hallo everyone,

i am tying to do a roof and seems tha i have a problem that i cant solve.

I did this roof with a family and a roof tile, you can see on my foto..

the problem is that my roof has a slope of 1% ,and at every side of the roof i need to make a triangle mortar, (on the photo i have set a question mark.)

i was trying to do this in the family with a sweep. but the only thing i could do was to set this triangle at the 4 sides of the roof with the same height.

I need tha this sweep changes its heigt at every site of the roof inorder to follow the 1% of slope

is there any way to be done?

sorry about my english, i hope you understand what i wantet

thanks

Create In-Place > Solid Sweep, use your "roof edges" to be the PATH

That image is more clear than the other, you have to create that in four pieces with In-place > SWEPT BLEND (two profiles), you'll have to use VOIDS to cut the corners.

Have you tried with Roof modelling. Select the roof and see in options bar.
