i have a arch engineer who is working on arch template not the file is to be transfered to the mechanical engineer who wants to start the work on mechanical template please can you tell me how is it possible.

Because template files have no effect on compatability between files. Only what is initialy contained in the file when a new project is started.

He will start his own file with his template and link your file in.

what you means is that this type of problem can be saved by linking the templates or merging them together and and than the mechanical engineer can purge the arch templates can u please provide more informations how to work with this type of environment.

No, I meant exactly waht I said.  The mechanical engineer uses his own template!
