Hi, i have started my first alone documentation project. I am using REVIT and soley Revit for this project. I have been using REVIT for a while but only for school projects. I need some help with door and window scheduling. I am required to show a schedule which also shows the images of the doors. Is this possible in revit. I have added, "model" to the schedule fields, I assumed this would add an image of the door, however nothing shows up in this field. Is this possible in REVIT if so how, if not, is there a work around?Regards Bill

I am not clear with your question, hope this helps...Using Legend Component in Legend and place on the sheet beside your schedule or directly import image on to the sheet.

Hi Pavan. Atm the schedule only shows the details of the door. e.g. height, sill height frame width etc. I actually need to add an image/diagram to the schedule of each door..Similar to what you would see a door in elevation, though 20 doors on one sheet, where i can annotate and dimension. Just wondering if REVIT did this automatically, or if i have to create a view of each door in elevation and then put them all on a sheet and annotate them individually. I would imagine well hoped there would be an option where REVIT could put an elevation view of each door as part of the schedule.Sorry for not being clear.

I think you need to use the legend component and see what you have.

The company I work for has developed a tool to set up legends with a layout template, so Legend components are included in a automaticly generated element-type-legend. Our homepage is in danish (nti.dk), its a scandinavian Autodesk reseller, but the tool is in english. I can help if you are interested, or maybe someone has developed something similar in Autodesk exchange.

Bill, Create a Legend view then using Legend component you can place doors and windows. Try this.

Add fllor level to your schedule and use that to filter it. You can hide that column if you want.
