I'm trying to create a bar that is backlit using a 3form material and I want it to look like a patterned metal cutout is wrapped around the bar on top of the surface.  I made the bar glow then created the metal material but when I added it the glowing material doesn't render.  I though it would show up throught the cutouts in the metal.

Using Revit Architecture 2013
