I'm working on a section to show standard relationships between Restroom fictures & Accessories to meet ADA requirements. The problem I'm having is that a lot of the dimensions are to the "highest operable part", But Revit doesnt seem to want to pick on anything but the sides and centerline of families. Does anyone know how to get it to dimension to the other parts of the family. A example is the toilet seat cover dispencer found here.

I've been trying to dimension to the top of the opening. Any suggestions?

You need "is reference" planes in the family.
From your HELP: Is Reference
Specifies whether a reference plane, sketched during the creation of a family, is a reference in a project. This means that you can dimension to the family or align to it. If you set a reference plane as a reference for all family types, then you can consistently dimension to that family type when you place it in your project. For example, you create a door family with 24", 30", and 36" types. For each type, you specify a reference plane as left. Then you place the new 24" door type in your project and dimension it 5' from an exterior wall. Then you decide to replace that 24" door with a 30" door. When you swap out the doors, Revit Architecture retains the 5' dimension. The Is Reference names are arbitrary and are meant as a convenient method for maintaining consistency across family types. For more information, including information on strong and weak references, see The Families Guide.
The Families Guide is downloadable on the AutoDESK website and is a necessary reference.
