I'm having trouble with rendering an interior view with exterior daylighting.
The attached images show splotches of varying size depending on the settings. The images are in order from lowest resolution (draft) to the highest. The last image has render settings at:
Indirect Illumination Precision: 1
Indirect Illumination Smoothness: 10
Indirect Illumination Bounces: 2
The rest are left at default.
I created an 'abstract' phase filter for the grayscale images with white porcelain as the material, but the splotches come through even on normal, non-abstract renderings.
Any suggestions will be welcome. I'll try anything.
Thanks

Here's another quick render of a different room - also splotchy.
