I'm welding together 2 beams at differing slopes. What is the easiest way to show this in Revit? Attached is an example of what I mean.

you can't really join beams...
what you can do, i haven't ried it yet but i'm sure you can do it, is open yout vertical post family and attach a void to the top of it with angle control parameter, than you can adjust the angel to suit the slopping beam and sit it on top so it looks like it's cut...
or you can use sweep and set the profile to your beam profile...
