My question might be dumb but I'm not that expert in Revit yet Smile I'm trying to insert a component of modernfold partition that I found on Autodesk Seek. I can see the family loaded into the project but it doesn't allow me to place it anywhere. What am I doing wrong? previously, I've had similar situations and turned out that I was using wrong (category?), could this be it? and how shall I insert it then?

Thanks

Go into the family and see what FAMILY TYPE it is and what it is suppose to be hosted to.

Got it resolved. After I loaded the component, I clicked on (placement), and then (place on work plane), then I clicked where I want to place it.

It's nice to learn a new thing everyday.
