Hi, what could cause a model to drag? I've worked with projects upwards from 200,000SF, and when exporting the model to CAD, it took little time. There were a ton of linked files and families. This particular model is only 25,000SF, and there are more groups than families. The furniture plans have the most grouped objects, and those are definitely slower than the floor plans. There are not many (if any) linked files. Is there a "process of elimination" checklist which could help me to determine what is causing this model to drag. It is especially ornery when exporting to ACAD. computer stats: 3.40Ghz, 2GB RAM, RADEON X300 video card

Almost certainly it’s your groups! They slow down the view quite a bit… I had drawings with maybe 50 or so drafting lines grouped, it really slowed down my display, I think because it is trying to regenerate the whole group… hope a fix will be out in 9 Smile
