Hi
I have built a model with walls showing true thickness... that is, say a 120mm stud wall, 10mm internal plaster wall, and 35mm external cladding.
I did this so that i could assign materials to my walls which could be rendered in a presentation model.
But when dimensioning the walls for the working drawings, the dimensions pick up everything, which is not what i want. I want the dims to only pick up the stud thickness... Is there any way to get the dimension lines to only do this?
Anyone with adivce on this?

are you doing a chain dimension?
regardless, once clicking on the dimension, some options will appear on top, choose to core face from the drop down menu,
you might also have to change the geometry of your wall (in edit wall properties) to make sure that only the stud wall is in the core boundry and the cladding and plaster are on the outside...
