I am creating Building pads in RAC 2013. I need a series of these for a terrace property where the ground floors of each unit in the terrace are at slightly different levels to the two adjacent units.
I have created the pads OK, all on the Ground Floor level, and I have defined offsets for each pad. The offsets are recorded correctly, and the properties for each pad are correctly showingthe defined offsets, but in the model all of the pads are drawn at exactly the same level.
I am able to move the pads to the correct position in an elevation view, but I thought that the offset value would have done this automatically.
Am I missing something about the process?
Someone has suggested that I should create a new level for each unit and create the pads on the appropriate level, but the differences between the pad levels can be as little as 100mm.

Well! Don't I feel stupid.I had been setting the offsets at 0.1 (thinking that the values were in metres.) Of course, they are mm so I should have entered the values as 100.0
