Hi guys i have created a Truss family using the generic template, the problem is i could not edit the dimension on the properties i want the length to be shorter but i cant click on it or activiate the length on the dimension tool.

the idear is to create a truss that i can keep on changing it whenever i want without re drawing other family to suit my current space?

It sounds like you do not understand parameters.  I suggest you download the families guide from the autodesk site.  It will teach you so much that you really should know.

Hi guys thanks for the reply i managed to fix it all i did is just click edit type under properties which there the dimension tool was active for editing the truss dimensions
