Hi there,
Is there any way to create a custom profile(craftsman style) for the end of the fascia/ barge boardsso it extends beyond the roof line
Best

Try to search the forms before you post. If you use simple searches, you will most likely find what you need.

That seems to be a different question from your original post. If it is, then I think you need to explain furthur.
BTW - I am assuming the similar threads answered your original question.

I can extend the fascia board beyond the roof simply dragging it but I can not change type of mitter or customize the the end of it

The facia will automatically miter when you add it to the roof edges in one operation.

Follow Robin's process shown in the first link below. That should work. You have to cut the geometry before you close the family.

thanks WW, I guess if you have more than 10 barge board ends, It takes too long to create void and apply for one by one. In this case , It is easier to create one end piece and attached to barge boards. Dont you think?

No ... because you can copy the void sketch from workplane to workplane.

It seems I have problem with setting the workplane on the fascia surface, I have to choose generic family for void and wall plane as working plane. whatever I do I can not select fascia plane as work plane somehow. then I had set start and end of the extrusion based on overhang size. later somehow if i decide to change roof overhang size it will be a very time consuming process I guess.

First, this is an in-place family and you set it to roof.
After you start the in-place, then pick your work plane before any sketching.
The extrusion depth only has to be as deep or just a little deeper than your facia.
Before finishing the in-place family but after finishing the void extrusion, you choose what it is to cut and you pick the facia, not the roof.
