Hi guys.

Im a student working for a small company who make / erect steel sheds and workshops, and ive been trying to develop 3D drawings in reflection to internal / external spaces, and flexability of design.

The product is designed by the following means:

• Steel Box section frames, for example 2000x3000 in size, and also a horziontal bar to the middle of this section
• These sections are bolted together to overall generate stability / length required by the client

we also plyline / plaster these buildings depending on the requirements such as an office space.  Including PVC doors, windows etc.

I was wondering how designing this could be possible in revit, or if even?

If my brief statement is a little vage please feel free to ask for any other information.  Trusses can come later, i feel like the basics are the most important to overcome at present! :D

Just create as you would any other building.  Create the wall types as the actually are, ceilings, roofs etc.  As far as the bolted connections I wouldn't worry about modeling them and just put them in as detail components.
