Hello,

I am in Revit 2013 (all-in-one).

I am trying to place a Mitsubishi mini-split A/C in a new addition to an existing building. The addition will use a new single phase 100A 120/240 V subpanel fed from the existing single phase 225A 120/240 panel. The A/C compressor (model MXZ 4B35NA) uses single phase, 3W, 208/230 V with 20 A MCA.

The distribution system in Revit is 120/240 single phase, 3 Wire, 240 V L-L, 120V L-G. As far as I can tell, 230 V is within the range of 120/240 ....

But whenever I try to circuit the Mitsubishi to the sub-panel I get this error : "Cannot assign or add "The Panel" to Circuit. The Voltage (230 V) for the Circuit is out of range for the Line to Ground Voltage for "The Panel" (The Line to Ground Voltage is specified in the assigned Distribution System)."

Revit won't let me change the Line to Ground voltage from 120V in the project, and I can't get the A/C family to circuit unless I drop its voltage to 120 to match the L-G. Can anyone explain to me where I'm going wrong here ?

Thanks

Ok fixed it. Doh. The distribution system was set correctly. I re-checked the family (for the 11th time) and the connector was set to 230V ... 1 pole. Changed it to 2 pole, it works... I will not share how long that penny took to drop.
