I'm looking for a wood face grain model pattern. The two model patterns here don't work. I just get a big black blob. Any suggestions?

change the scale of the patterns you downloaded from here.

Yeah, it took awhile for me to figure that out. When you call up the new pattern in the dialog box to use as custom, type in a new scale for it. Ouila! There it is...
