Hi

I am creating a floor finish scope drawings where the areas of the finishes are also going into a schedule. Could someone please advise on how to show two floor finishes in the same room? eg the floor finish in one of the rooms has both vinly and carpet finish.

Thanks

We often use a thin floor for floor areas but you can also split the floor face and apply a material finish.  The thin floor will schedule under floors as an area.  The split floor material can schedule under materials.

Ok I have now created thin floors for carpet, Vinyl floor etc. and added these floors to my rooms. How do I now add these to my room schedule or do I need to do a separate schedule for floors alone if so how do I add room names and numbers to the new floor types. Preferably I would like all the information on the one schedule.

Sorry - floors will not schedule with rooms. << Still a defeciency in Revit

We add a floor finish category to rooms and manually fill it in there - as we also do fo other finishes.
