i was wondering how do you download and import fill patterns? ive tried to download befor, but when it downloads it as a text documant
|

Hammer87,
Once you download the fill pattern which is a .pat file. you have to go to your fill patterns in Revit under the settings pulldown list and import it into revit.
The process for that is, once fill patterns is open, click new select draft - this reason for that is that most fill patterns are 2d-. Then select import- navigate to your pattern and set the scale... Remember to immediately set the scale because once it's set you can't change it unless you reimport it under a new name. I usually name my fills by scale and type e.g. 1/32 diag...
