Hi,
Could someone either point me in the right direction on how to turn the attached family into a double door without breaking all the parametric options, or could someone please do it for me and upload the new family please?
Thanks in advance!

I didn't open your family but if you change that family you'll have to create new constrains ("parametric options" like you named....) AND you have to do that yourself, here you have the best HELP you need: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=13080413
One day you'll have to learn, why not today?

Hi
Thanks for the pointer Anyways I ended up doing it myself. Attached is the end result, however in the family itself when flexing all the parameters it works perfectly, but when i reloaded it into my project and changed the swing angle the door actually moves position? Could you possibly have a look and help me work out why the door position is moving when changing the swing angle?
Could you also test it out, and or give me any tips etc for anything I might change or improve?
Parametric Values include:
Frame material, Door Panel Frame material, louver blade material, frame dimensions, height, width, left door swing angle, right door swing angle, left door width, right door width, blade angle, blade depth, number of blades, blade position and a couple of others.
Cheers,
MM

That happened to me so many times. You can try the followings.
1. Delete those symbolic lines for plan swing cut and plan swing projection on ref. level view.
2. Redraw those plan swing cut with 90 degrees from the wall, add dimensions such as door width and thickness.
3. Rotate that plan swing cut to 60 degrees from the wall. If all dimensions are stick with what should be, then go to the next step. if it does not work, then you have to re-draw it, same for followng steps.
4. Add plan swing projection, then to rotate the plan swing cut to 45 degrees. If the plan swing projections are changed accordinly. Then go to the next step.
5. Add swing angle with the label, then go to family property, change the swing angle to 75 degrees. if the swing cuts and projections both changed accordingly, then go to the next step.
6. From the property window change the swing angle back to 90 degrees, and load it to a project. And try to change the door swings to see if everything works.
I had to do this excercises for all my door families, sometimes once or twice, sometimes more than 10 times. I haven't figureed it out. So far that was my only suggestion. Good Luck!

Lol - ok I think I will just leave it as is and then move the doors location back if I keep changing the swing angle
Thanks for the suggestion though - I will bear it in mind if I am doing a lot of door family creation....
