Hi everyone- I am doing a project where i want to show some vans in a loading area. The loading area is pitched 1/4" in 12". When I try to rotate the vans to match the slope, i get the usual "cannot rotate blah blah blah.." message. I tried saving the van as a different family then editing the model and rotate it within the family but to no avail. Anyone have the answer or can you point me to another thread that covered this?

Create a reference plane at the angle of the loading area and when you insert the van place it on that work plane.

Also check (in the Family Categories and Parameters dialog) to see whether the"always vertical" parameter is checked.
