I would do the Access Hatch family without the void and just create an in-place void to cut out the slab. Why would you need the void to cut vertically on a slobed slab? Your access hatch is sloped so why wouldn't the void be?

Hi,
I would generally agree with you on this. but lets say you want to cut vertically on sloped floor n insert a family,
what are my options. Recently i faced the same situation on another issue. lets say i have a piece of sloped slab at ground level (like a ramp, but it's not ramp) and i have MEP square opening on it. like 2.5m x 2 m... we wanted to sweep a kerb around the opening on sloped floor,
you see the same problem, the kerb cant be sweeped keeping the section (profile) vertically. it sweeps parellel to the slope.
why cant revit fix such small yet. practical day to day issues.
i'm using Revit 2012
Cheers.
