I have drawn my toposurface as new construction and then put a building pad over it as new construction. When i do so, i cannot see the contour lines under where my building pad has cut the topo. Can i put the building pad in a 'future' stage or something so that i can see my contours in this view? File attached for reference!

I don't believe there is a way to do this using a building pad. The building pad is actually cutting the toposurface so in reality the lines dont run through it. The only way I think you are going to be able to achieve this is to use a floor slab instead of a building pad and turn the transparency up on the floor slab so that the topo lines will show through. The only problem with doing it this way is that a floor slab will not cut the topo surface.
