Revit 2013 - I am looking for a way to globally select a material and change it to something else.

If you change the material in the material library, it will change that everywhere.

Yeah I kinda figured that one out after thinking. I have two materials, one is masonry - brown brick and masonry - red brick. I wanted to globally change the "brown" to "red" material. Changing the material pattern in the material might be the easist way.

You also have the ability to merge materials using our plugin.
For example, if your project uses red brick and brown brick, and you would like to use the red brick globally you coud replace brown brick material with the red brick. The Revit built-in solution is to change the brown brick to look like the red brick; in this scenario you still have two individual materials that you have to maintain.
