We multipe beam sytems bering on CMU and concrete walls. However in plan the stick symbol represtation is showing as set back from the wall (see pic). We would like the line to show on top of the wall (at least 4"). The beam system is drawn to 4" bearing and in section and 3D it shows correctly.

Check your start and end extensions in your properties.

I may be able to help but I can't seem to make the connection between what you describe as the problem and the image that has a red elipse around what appears to be a joist ?
Where's the CMU wall and where's the setback you don't like ?
Can you better correlate your problem with the image ?
'End Extension property' may be your answer, not know exactly what the problem is however.
Change you plan view to Medium Detail and see what you get.
Is the framing member a custom family in any way ?

Sorry i seem to have attached the wrong image.
The start and end properties will work. However, I am hoping there is a way to edit this as a beam system and not each individual beam.
I have attached the correct picture.
interesting side note. If I set the walls to non-structural the lines show up correctly. This also will not work since these walls are structural and must be set that way for model coordination.

The view is in medium detail and the joists are not custom a custom family.

"I am hoping there is a way to edit this as a beam system and not each individual beam"
Click on one beam, right click, select all instances and I believe you should be able to change them all at once.
