I am a high school teacher and currently use revit in my architecture class. Currently in our lab we have both revit 8.0 and 8.1. I have noticed that my students who created their projects in 8.1 cannot open them on the computers with 8.0. Is there any way around this? Any help that you could provide me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Derek Nagel

Unfortunately Revit is a subscription program that automatic send the subscriber the upgrades. For this reason, will be ableto open an earlier version drawing which is upgraded once when you open it on the new version, however, it does not save in earlier versions thus file of later versions can not be opened with earlier revit versions.
Autodesk Revit has a studen/instructor version at a reduced cost, you may contact them in this regard.
