Has anyone checked into a program called Lumion? I got an e-mail from AUGI with a link for it, I want to try the free version and see how it works, but am having trouble downloading it. If anyone has heard of it or tried it I would appreciate any feed back about it. Thanks all.

I love Lumion. The ability to create animated videos with easy landscaping tools is amazing and its super fast at completing renderings. I only wish that my Revit materials would carry over; re creating all my materials is tedious and I don't like its material editor (not that Revit's is great but its still better). Absolutely give it a try if you can get the trial version to work. You'll have fun.

I finally did get it to work. Turned off my anti-virus and tried it again, started extracting its self right away. Have played with it for a few minutes this morning. Does some very cool stuff. I really like the ocean feature. Thanks to everyone that replied.

Lumion is the best rendering program Ive used. What is best about it is how fast you can create a rendering or a movie from a revit model. Its how rendering should a have been to begin with.

Lumion 4 is coming!!!
Lumion has been increasingly recognised as the ideal rendering software for visualizing design and architectural concepts in superb quality video form. Right now, 25 of the top 100 Architect companies in the World are customers of Lumion.
The introduction of Lumion 4.0 once again takes the Lumion experience to an even higher level. ‘Easy-to-learn’, ‘easy-to-use’, ‘super interoperability with so many 3D CAD packages’, ‘incredibly fast to get a fantastic video’ are all phrases that have become synonymous with Lumion.
