Is it possible to completely disable the choice to put the leader line on the bottom line of a text?
I hate that option (dont think anyone uses it) and it seems to reset itself all the time.

Revit defaults to the last command used. So click on Text, then where you want the leader line located, then place your text and the next time you go to make text your previous selections are recalled.

There is no way to turn it off. If you pick where you want it when you start a note, it will reset to that. Picking it after the note is started only changes that instance.
I use the bottom for left side notes ... which are right side justified. I could never figure out why some people want the leader to come from somewhere in the middle of a note like you like.
