In Revit 2012, i need to show the door being removed, but the frame is to remain. How do I do this?

This is one of those things that is not easy to do unless the door family was built to allow for it. The way I would do it is to use the linework tool. In the demo plans, use the tool on the door and swing lines with your dashed demo line. On all other new plans, use the tool with invisible lines. The problem is ... every plan.
