Hi Im having a bit of an issue here. I have this stair that is only showing part of the "down arrow" (red line). the up arrow shows just fine.

any ideas on how to fix this?

Your Floor above is covering up your "down arrow".  Since you are on a higher level you would need to put a plan region around that portion of you stairs and adjust your view range of the plan region to get it to show through.
