Is it possible to create a chart (or table) in Revit Arch 2013? I would like to create a chart listing my building code requirements. I was wondering if Revit has anything built-in to help generate the rows and columns to create a chart.
I would like to create a chart or table similar to an excel spread sheet with a few rows and columns.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob,
You can create a "code chart" using schedules in Revit. I've created them in the past by doing the following:
- View Tab
- Schedules
- Schedules / Quantities
- Next, in order to allow you to create a schedule that you can manually edit anyway you want, pick something from the category list that you know for sure you won't need to use in your model e.g. Switch Systems.
- Change the Name to something like "Code Chart"
- Since we're not scheduling model elements, click the schedule keys radial button. Once you do this the key name field is editable. Rename this to "Code Chart Text"
- Click "OK"
- Now the fun part, adding parameters for your chart - When the shedule properties dialog pops up, make sure the field tab is active.
- Click on "Add parameter" and start creating parameters for the columns you need in your chart e.g. Code Section II, Code Requirement, Actual, etc. Be sure you select the correct "Type of Parameter" (text or number if you want to use that). This will affect the type of information you cad add to that field. Also, select an appropriate group.

Tarzan 65, you have probably figured this out by now, but in any case I wanted to reply to your question. In the past I have created the "charts" within the project template so that its available for every project.
Hope that helps.
