Hi guys, im expiriencing some issues with some wall thicknesses. I have a wall A=0.1743m, wall B1=0.1175, wall B2=0.0568

normally you would think B1+B2=A right? well not in my case.

if you look close (really close); you can see in the image attached, walls B1 and B2 are intersecting when alinged to wall A's faces respectively.

Does anybody havea fix for this? why aren't things adding up?

thanks i've also attached a revit file so you guys can check uot my wall types.

Do you really have wall B1 and B2 as 2 seperate walls? Why not have them as one wall with different layers? That way there is no way you can end up with your walls overlapping as they appear to be doing.

You are doing something wrong.

DON'T zoom, zoom, zoom in and expect your graphics to handle this.  Change you view scale to 1:1 and see what happens.  If it still look wrong, then your numbers - not Revits, don't add up.

I prefer having seperate walls, for scheduling purposes.

could it be that my units are in Meters, but when I input the wall's layers width I do in in inches?

i just noticed the revit file did not upload, so heres a link so you can download it. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4369005/wall%20thickness.rvt
