hi guys! its difficult for me to expain what i would need so i try to bring you there...

open revit

go to the rotation tool

draw a rectangle (1000 mm width 400 mm height)

draw an arch that starts at the lower right corner and intersects the top horizontal line of the rectangle. the center of the arch is the lower left corner.

delete the right vertical line

trim the top right section of the rectangle till the arch

make the rotation to the base line of the rectangle

you get a cylinder lying on the side with a rounded top. almost like this:  D

where the rounded top meets the cylinder there is a sharp edge that i would round with a radius of 100. how am i supposed to do that? i tried by drawing circles but there is no "tangent" alignment so when i flex it it deforms. is there a way to do this or to draw some sketchlines to help me construct this thing?

hope taht it is clear what i mean to do..

thank you

Igor
