Hi,
I'm having big trouble using the Velux downloaded windows. Even though my roof is not thicker than 300mm I can't seem to get any light through it - is it because the blind is blocking the sun? If so, I can't figure out how to edit the family to change it...
Does anyone have any good ideas? Any other window works fine, only Velux seems to be causing problems...
Thanks for any response!
/Tine

Edit the family and check if you have a VOID in there, that void must cut the roof, also, when you render don't forget turn ON the "Daylight Portal"

The void is there as far as I can see, and the light portal is on...can you see the file I attached? When I pan around in 3D I can see that something is blocking the window, and I'm thinking it must be the blind?!

The materials in the family are not assigned correctly. You need to edit the family and see what materials are assigned to what and then change those materials IN THE PROJECT.
