I have shared parameters for a title block some parameters are sheet specific some project specific on my title block .rfa file. We are using our clients existing model, it was done by another firm, the model has no sheets we are first to set up sheets for this client.
When I create a new sheet and load our title block I find I have to load shared parameters using project parameters function. The easiest way I could figure out is to have a blank project loaded with our title block and shared parameters all setup. I create a blank sheet on the model we are using from client. I copy paste a title block from our “template” file and paste it in the blank sheet of our clients model. That seems to do the trick so I don’t have to load every parameter for each new project.
Any suggestions for a better way?

You should create your own project template and use that, not a project.
Some shared parameters belong in the project as well as in your titleblock... They are "shared" so the same information can be used across multiple elements. Our project number / name / address .... are all in the project as well as the title sheets. - Understand?

I guess I didn't use the right verbage. We have a template file for our client, parameters are set up and working fine, IF we were starting a project from the ground up. As it is we are doing a large remodel, using existing model that has no sheets. As we use their model when we create a new sheet, I have to assign the project paremeters to the labels of the titleblock. Once I do that I'm fine for every subsequent sheet that gets created. The only solution I have for not having to assign project parameters to the lables on the newly inserted title block is to create a new blank sheet and copy paste the title block from another sheet (other model that works fine).

Please re-read my answer.
When we start a project, we fill in the shared parameters in the project. When we then insert a titleblock - of any kind, the information is filled in from the information in the project.
