I'm trying to export my revit drawings to autocad and was wondering if there was a way to import specific autocad layers into revit so when they are opened in autocad the layers diplay correctly. I have found the dwg export settings and noticed there are only a few different layer standards and they are read as .txt files. To this point the only way I can think of doing it is by changing them all manually in Revit. Let me know if anyone can help

Ive done some research on that and found out the only way to do it is manually in Revit. I havent heard of any other way.

Start with one of the standards .txt files (I used the AIA file), edit it to suit your needs, then use it when you export. It can be a little confusing/tedious to set up, but once you have it right you should be good to go.
