I created a new family door, and I was able to load it into a project a few days ago, and now when i got to load it i keep getting an error that says - Error 1: Cant make type "36" x 84" Door :id 124491
I have no idea what happened, any suggestions what this could mean?

You say you loaded it before so why would you be loading it now? The only reason would be you have changed something and that change can not be made on a door already in the project.
You can search for that ID to find what door is having problems. That might lead you to your answer. Beyond that, we don't have enough information to help you furthur.

That is not an error number. It is an element ID number.
Manage Tab / Inquiry / Select by ID.

I tried entering the element number and it said its an invalid number, Im probably just going to have to redo the door.
Thanks for your help!

1. Try loading the door family into a new fresh project. See if it has problems there.
2. If it works in the new project then open the problem project delete the door family entirely from the project, save and exit.
3. Then reload the door family into the problem project.
4. If step 1 does not work then you need to open and fix the family file. (ie: Undo the last studff you did).
5. Either way before reloading the family back into the problem project I would delete the family from the project entirely before reloading.
Sometimes reloading and over writing does not work as good as 'deleting' then reloading.

Yeah i tried loading it into a new project but the same thing came up. I deleted the door from the project and started to redo the custom door. It really didnt take that long to redo. Hopefully it sworks this time. I have another issue regarding a window sill, but ill ask about that in a bit. Thanks for being patient WWHub!
