i need to import a model made in 3d Studio Max into Revit Arch 2012.
i know i can do it with DWGs but i was hoping there would be a better way, any ideas?
I need to import it as a building to go over structural and MEP revit models.

The better way is to do a simple search in your HELP.... "Import"

The HELP will tell you the files you can import.... If the ones you can use don't include the ones you have or can make, then there is nothing else - no workarounds.

i saw a video on the Revit Wiki once about how to convert a 3ds max model into a nice looking dwg without all the segmented lines on it. unfortunately the wiki is a pile of crap in my mind and I can't find it again. i know its there tho.
