Deleting an element within 3D environment doesn't delete the element from the 2D environment why? I am finding as a newbie i am making tones of mistakes and pressing "E" the "space bar" to delete say a wall in my 3D model space. Why doesnt that very same wall get removed/ deleted in the 2D space. Do i have to have both windows Tabb'ed side by side for this to work?

You are absolutly incorrect. When a model element is deleted anywhere, it is deleted everywhere - period!
2D Elements are view specific. Not sure what you are doing or what your shortcuts may be. I usually just select the object and hit the delete key.

2D elements, linework, annotations, tags and dimensions are 'view specific'. You would need to delete in all views even though you can copy and paste them from view to view. They are not associated with their originator.
3D Elements will be deleted in all views. Thngs like walls, floors, stairs, roofs, pipes, ducts, furniture, toilets, casework, railings. . . . etc.
If you do not want to see a 3d element in a specific view you can hide the element or hide the entire category.
Keep a positive attitude. . . . you'll get there.
