Hi Everyone. My Name is kepners. Not only am i a newbee here and I am also new to revit.
OK, so! I have the book and following a youtube video on how to use align. I draw out a rough rectangle and align each side to my grid reference. Simple... NOPE! three of the four sides align to the grid the final side/corner then pings up an error message along the lines of "Highlighted walls overlap. One of them may be ignored when Revit finds room boundaries. Use Cut Geometry to embed one wall within the other." So i have tried rather than align it i drag the highlighted blue wall to the grid line it then separates at the corner in question.
Now, i have been messing around for a few days on this and i am making no head way at all. I have also found that I cant even align Curtain walling... to grid lines.
I really need help on this. any ideas why this is happening. I have attched the two DWF's of the problem.

Align tool... select the grid line then select the wall nothing more than that, in your image just use the "trim" tool to "close" thiose walls.

I would like to thank everyone who replied on here. I have solved it. I was incorrectly Deleting items and there being "hidden" in revit and whilst using Workplane i deleted everything i had drawn and its working perfectly. THanks again.
