Hi all,

I modeled my exterior site stairs in my SITE revit file and linked the whole file into my MAIN file.  The stairs show up in 3d view in my SITE file and in the elevation/plan views of the MAIN file, but doesn't show up in the 3d view of the MAIN file.  I checked and double checked my visibility settings and all seem to be in order so I'm lost as to why.

Images attached for reference.

I checked the linked visibility graphics and the stair object styles are turned on.  I also checked if it was hidden by mistake and nope, nothing there.  I also tried creating a new 3d view but the stairs don't show up there either.

I realized it might have something to do with my phasing.  As the stairs won't show up in my Existing&Demo phase but will show up in either none or New Construction phase.  Still can't quite understand why it won't show up in 3D view but in all other views as the setting are the same.

Any suggestions and/or insight greatly appreciated! Smile

What version of REVIT?

Do the stairs show up in "WireFrame" mode in the 3D view ?

Try This:

1. In the Site Model, create / save a 3D view that shows the stairs. (Write down the view name for step 4).

2. Save and close the Site Model.

3. In the Main Model set the Visibility Graphics of that link to 'By Linked View'.

4. Set the view name to the view you saved above.
